How deep do your family ties run? At Cash America, ours run so deep that we’ve made “We Are Family” one of our company’s core values.
When it comes to family, there’s nothing like some good ‘ol friendly competition. Our corporate office hosted a Cash America Softball Tournament last year, which benefited the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Rivalry, fun and hard work were put into action at the inaugural event that concluded a five-week JDRF fundraising campaign. Our corporate office’s campaign complemented the nationwide sneaker sale effort in our stores and all together we raised more than $480,000 to help fund a cure for type 1 diabetes. The family teamwork displayed at the office each day came in handy on the playing field during the games. Anytime we can bond with our Cash America family for a good cause, we consider that a home run!

Since we value our Cash America family so much, we also know the importance of helping other families in our communities. Last year, our coworkers in Indiana teamed up to raise money and collected toys, canned goods and other household items for local families during the holidays. In Dallas/Fort Worth last Thanksgiving, about 25 coworkers and their family members delivered 91 meals and turkeys to families so they could enjoy a hot meal together. We’re always looking for new ways to help families in our communities.
And, of course, our customers are part of our family, too. Since you visit our stores so often, you’ve naturally become our friends, and we love learning more about you. Let us know about the fun things you’re planning with your family this spring!
