Cash America International (Cash America), including all of its subsidiaries, supports and deeply respects all of the men and women who, through active duty in the U.S. Military Service, put their lives in danger in service to our country. For this reason Cash America adheres to the following policies and standards in regards to our active duty U.S. Military Servicemembers and their spouses who are, or become, our Customers. These policies and standards may be referred to as Cash America’s Military Best Practices.

| A. |
DEFINITIONS: To assure Cash America treats all U.S. Military Servicemembers and their spouses equally, regardless of the state in which Cash America services are rendered, Cash America has adapted the below definitions from the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003 (SCRA) and Title 10 – Armed Forces of the United States Code (the “Act”). |

1. |
Servicemember: A “Servicemember” is any of the following: |
|
|
|
a. |
A member of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard; |
|
|
|
b. |
A member of the commissioned corps of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (“NOAA”); |
|
|
|
c. |
A member of the commissioned corps of the United States Public Health Service; |
|
|
|
d. |
A member of the National Guard on Active Service; and, |
|
|
|
e. |
A member of the Reserve on Active Duty. |
|
|
2. |
Military Service: “Military Service” means: |
|
|
|
a. |
Active Duty – in the case of a Servicemember that is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard or any Reserve; |
|
|
|
b. |
Active Service - in the case of a Servicemember that is a member of the United States National Guard; |
|
|
|
c. |
Active Service in the case of a Servicemember who is a member of the commissioned corps of the United States Public Health Service or NOAA; and, |
|
|
|
d. |
Service during any period during which a Servicemember is absent from Active Duty or Active Service on account of sickness, wounds, leave, or other lawful cause. |
|
|
3. |
Active Duty: “Active Duty” means the full-time duty in the active military service of the United States. |
|
|
4. |
Active Service: “Active Service” means full-time duty in the active service of the NOAA or the United States Public Health Service and full-time duty in the active service of the National Guard. |
|
|
5. |
Reserve: “Reserve” means a person in the reserves of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard. |

| B. |
CASH AMERICA’S BASIC MILITARY BEST PRACTICES: To assure Cash America treats all U.S. Military Servicemembers and their spouses equally, regardless of the state in which Cash America services are rendered, Cash America has adapted the below definitions from the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003 (SCRA) and Title 10 – Armed Forces of the United States Code (the “Act”). |

1. |
Pawn Loans: |
|
|
|
a. |
Upon the receipt of a copy of military orders indicating that a person not previously in Military Service was called to Military Service after a pawn transaction was entered into between Cash America and that person or such person’s spouse, Cash America will, in connection with that pawn transaction, (1) waive all pawn service charges, and (2) place the pledged goods on hold in the store until the person is no longer in Military Service. |

b. |
Upon the receipt of a copy of military orders indicating that a Servicemember was deployed, or is to be deployed, into Military Service in a combat or combat support role after a pawn transaction was entered into between Cash America and that Servicemember or the spouse of such Servicemember, Cash America will in connection with that pawn transaction, (1) waive all pawn service charges, and (2) place the pledged goods on hold in the store until the Servicemember is no longer deployed in a combat or combat support role. |

2. |
Cash Advance/Short-term Loan, Brokered Loans, Installment Loans, etc: |
|
|
|
a. |
Upon the receipt of a copy of military orders indicating that a person not previously in Military Service was called to Military Service after a cash advance/short-term loan, brokered loan, or installment loan (collectively, “Non-Pawn Loan”), was entered into between Cash America and such person or such person’s spouse, Cash America will, in connection with the Non-Pawn Loan, (1) waive all finance charges of such Non-Pawn Loan, and (2) suspend any collection activities with respect to the then remaining unpaid principal balance of the Non-Pawn Loan until the Servicemember is no longer in Military Service. |

b. |
Upon the receipt of a copy of military orders indicating that a Servicemember was deployed, or is to be deployed, for Military Service in a combat or combat support role after such Servicemember or such Servicemember’s spouse entered entering into a Non-Pawn Loan with Cash America, Cash America will in connection with the Non-Pawn Loan (1) waive all finance charges of the Non-Pawn Loan, and 2) suspend any collection activities with respect to the then remaining unpaid principal balance of the Non-Pawn Loan until the Servicemember is no longer deployed in a combat or combat support role. |

|
c. |
Cash America will not garnish military wages or salaries for Servicemembers performing Military Service. |
|
|
|
d. |
Cash America will not conduct any collection activity against a Servicemember or his or her spouse when the Servicemember has been deployed to a combat or combat support posting for the duration of the deployment or for a Servicemember in the Reserves or National Guard while such Servicemember is on Active Duty. |

|
e. |
Cash America will not contact the military chain of command of a Servicemember performing Military Service, or his or her spouse, in an effort to collect on a Non-Pawn Loan. |
|
|
|
f. |
Cash America will honor the terms of any repayment agreement that it negotiates through military counselors or third-party counselors. |
|
|
|
g. |
Cash America will honor any written statement or proclamation by a military base commander that a specific cash advance lending branch location has been declared off limits to Servicemembers in Military Service stationed at such military base. |
